SKIING

Ski from the doorstep at “La Grande Terche” with 52km of pistes in this self contained area which is ideal for beginners.  The 20 km ‘Circuit’ is a real gem when open and the snow is good but the real jewel however is the easy access to the renowned resorts of Morzine, Avoriaz and Les Gets.

The resort of Les Gets is an exceptional playground for all skiers, with 120 km of marked runs and well served via 47 lifts. The ski resort is suited to all ability levels with Nordic skiing trails, a free beginners’ area with many fun additions (timed slalom, snowpark, Boarder Cross…), and even a Wild West winter sports area for children.
Passes can be purchased online or from the ticket office at the base of the mountain.

A village completely surrounded by snow and accessible to pedestrians only, Avoriaz 1800 is at the heart of the Portes du Soleil region; one of the largest cross-border ski areas in the world linking 12 resorts between France and Switzerland. There are plenty of green and blue slopes for beginners as well as many more challenging runs.
Passes can be purchased online or from the ticket office at the base of the gondolas.

The traditional town of Morzine stretches along both sides of a river gorge and offers a huge network of slopes accessible via two main gondolas; Super Morzine and Pleney. The local lift pass covers 120 km of tree-lined pistes shared with the Les Gets ski area. More advanced skiers can access the challenging, steep terrain in the Chamossiere sector and the famous Swiss Wall in nearby Champéry. Passes can be purchased online or from the ticket offices at the base of the gondolas.
